MEET MIKE KISHLINE

Mike began his career in the rug business in 2008. In 2010, with a passion for rugs, he opened his own rug store, which was only a modest 900 square feet.

It has not been an easy road for Mike. In November 2012, a devastating fire destroyed The Rug Gallery of Newburgh and his entire inventory of rugs. Grateful that no one was injured in the fire, Mike quickly gathered a “team” of family and friends to develop a plan to rebuild. Today, The Rug Gallery of Newburgh is flourishing, and Mike proudly displays a wide array of fine rugs in his showroom

Mike appreciates the support he receives from his family, friends, loyal customers, and vendors. He is passionate about giving back to the community. Therefore, he volunteers his time and resources for a number of local organizations and causes, such as the Tri-State Multiple Sclerosis Association and Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana.

Thank you for joining Mike on this exciting journey.

“I look forward to earning your business for a lifetime”

ABOUT OUR RUGS

Hand knotted rugs at The Rug Gallery of Newburgh have been individually selected from around the world. These rugs reflect the beauty of fine yarn, such as wool, pure silk, and jute. In addition, some of our hand knotted pieces are made with man-made fibers, such as bamboo silk and viscose. We also carry a variety of machine made rugs, which are made with synthetic fibers (polyester and polypropylene). These rugs were selected based on the designs and colors of contemporary home decor. Vintage rugs are trendy in some areas. We continually add vintage rugs to our inventory. We travel to villages to select unique pieces. I take great personal interest in helping you choose a rug that fits your decor and your budget. If we are not able to find a rug in-stock, we can search beyond our showroom, or we can design a custom rug for you.
